Sirrah Galligan is the Educational Program Manager and Clinical Program Administrator for the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences Department at UConn. Sirrah graduated with her undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Communications at UConn and went on to get a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Drexel University. Sirrah has always had a passion for communications and journalism. She completed an internship with NBC 30 and anchored the UConn news channel while in school. After graduating, Sirrah worked as a Corporate Event Planner for 5 years but decided this wasn’t the career for her. After much consideration, Sirrah decided that she wanted to be back on the UConn campus and became a Program Assistant for the UConn Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences Department. Today, Sirrah’s job involves clinical education and program management. One of Sirrah’s passions outside of work is baking with her young daughter. She also loves spending time with her colleagues here at UConn. Sirrah has been a UConn employee for 10 years and is an integral part of our SLHS Community!
