Aidan Laliberte is a senior majoring in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at UConn. Years back, Aidan began his post-secondary education as a pre-med student but left school to pursue a career in acting and media. During this time he appeared in both theater and film projects, and also gained experience in video production. In 2018, he co-founded LittleFire, a digital media production company. The company has worked with small and large clients, including Disney, LEGO, and National Geographic.

After feeling burnt out in the media industry, Aidan began his search for a new career path. With his love for communication, education, healthcare background, bilingualism, and desire to work in clinical settings, he discovered the field of Speech-Language Pathology. After receiving his Bachelor’s, he plans to pursue a Graduate degree in clinical SLP. Aidan specifically is interested in working with the adult aphasia population. He has worked on several research projects at UConn’s Aphasia Rehab Lab. His newest endeavor is melding his expertise in media and his passion for speech pathology to develop an upcoming podcast that collaborates with students and faculty here at UConn and discusses topics within our field.
