Jennifer Tufts

Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences
Dr. Jennifer Tufts is a professor of audiology in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at the University of Connecticut. She is a past president of the National Hearing Conservation Association and is a past recipient of both the NHCA Outstanding Lecture Award (2014) and the NHCA Outstanding Poster Award (2010). Her research interests include hearing protection and enhancement devices, auditory fitness for duty, and music perception. Her research has been funded by the American Hearing Research Foundation, the Department of Defense, the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, and Phonak Communications AG. Dr. Tufts is a licensed audiologist in the state of CT and a CAOHC-certified Professional Supervisor.
