Today is Administrative Professional Day! Meet Kimberly McMahon, the UConn Speech and Hearing Clinic (UCSHC) Business Specialist! Kimberly earned her undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies, here at UConn. She then completed a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration at Southern New Hampshire University, driven by her passion for making a positive impact on the healthcare system. She began working at the UConn Clinic in 2019, where today she manages insurance billing and audiology benefit verification as well as clinic receivables and credentialing. 

Her favorite part of her job is being a part of the UConn community and the amazing people she gets to collaborate with every day.

A fun fact about Kimberly is that she did a cross-country trip from Connecticut to Montana. Kimberly and her husband love to go to National Parks, so during this road trip, they went to Badlands, Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Glacier. Her top favorite National Park she has visited is Zion in Utah, and Glacier in Montana being her second!
