CLAE Course Learns about Grad School Application Process

📢 This Week in CLAE (Collaborative Learning and Academic Engagement) Class! 🎓✨

This week, our students explored the process of obtaining and submitting observation hours, gaining valuable insights into the graduate school application process and clinical experiences. Here are some of their takeaways:

“I learned about how to submit guided observation hours, which is really helpful because I was confused about it before. This was sort of daunting at first, but it makes a lot more sense now!”

“MasterClinician is a great resource to use if I want to get more hours. This will help me get the experience and hours I need to apply to grad school.”

“I had previously known about the 25 guided observation hours, but this class provided a lot of information about how to document and get the hours approved.”

“Today I learned that you have to submit a different log per person you shadow. I had no idea and thought you only had to submit one. This honestly makes me super eager to shadow!”

We love seeing our students feel more confident and prepared for their future careers in speech-language pathology! 🗣💡
