Program Overview

What is the Summer Pre-Masters in Speech Language Pathology?

The Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences department at UConn is offering an affordable, and time-efficient way to fulfill required coursework that is typically needed for admission to graduate school.

This prerequisite coursework is typically needed for admission to graduate school for speech language pathology for those who do not have an undergraduate degree in this area.

If I complete these courses, am I eligible to apply to UConn’s 2 year M.A. SLP program?

Yes!

How are the courses delivered?

Each course will be administered virtually through Blackboard (HuskyCT) at https://huskyct.uconn.edu

Each course is being offered asynchronously. This means that you do not have to meet during a set time for the course. However, you will need to complete the course work assigned by deadlines defined by each instructor.
