Sunday, June 23rd was the Walk4Hearing in the Yard Goats stadium. UCONN SLHS was well represented with SAA having their own team (shown Ashley Paul, Georgia Pendergast, Aaron Kaszas, Rachel Corsetti, Eliza Mulkern, Stella Bragoni), Torri Ann Woodruff-Gautherin walking for CT Hand and Voices, and Kathy Cienkowski walking for the Eastern CT HLAA Chapter. In total the event raised over $44k in support of individuals with hearing differences. Even Chompers the mascot got fitted with a new cochlear implant!
