SLHS was well represented at the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) annual conference this past week in Denver, CO. Dr. Torri Ann Woodruff Gautherin (UConn ’22), Emily LaSpada (UConn ’23) and Dr. Cienkowski presented their work on reaching families who fail to enroll in early intervention services. LEND pediatric AuD trainees Jaylynne Thomas and Eliza Mulkern participated in a training workshop on supporting individuals with dual diagnoses and their families. And students past, Casey Martin (’22) and present (Eliza M.) got to connect during the poster sessions.
